You may be brought before a court and charged with terrorism if you are an animal rights activist, or a member of greenpeace. Two trials are currently underway in both the USA and the UK.
In the first, Animal Activists on Trial Under Terrorism Law, activists with "Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty" are on trial in New Jersey. In the second, Greenpeace goes on trial, The environmental group is being tried as an organization, for the supposed crimes of a couple of greenpeace members. And what "terrorist" crime did they commit? They have been accused of violating domestic peace for entering the Danish Agriculture building and hanging a banner from a window that read "No to GMO swine". Note that in both of these trials, the actions were 100% political, and that no person was harmed in any way. In the first, they used a tactic the anti-abortion christians use.
