It is a sure sign that a republican administration is failing when they get slammed by the pro-corporate press. Business week just slammed George Bush for giving speeches about energy policy that are meaningless and empty of any real possibility of doing what they claim to want. This isn't any news to most of us on the left, but when a pro-business rag comes out and says "Bush is Blowing Smoke on Energy" then something has gone seriously wrong for a pro-business administration.

All I can say is DUH. The guys have lied about everything they've done or wanted to do for more than four years and its so blatantly obvious that no person, even a pro-business republican can deny it. He's lost all credibility. 80% of democrats dont believe him, 70% of independants, and 50% of republicans think he lies. That's amazing.

Unfortunately, he isn't up for re-election, he still wants to destroy social security, his iraq adventure is still flopping along the ground like a dead fish, and the man has three more years in which he will be the most powerfull man on earth.
