"You," said Dr. Yavitch, "are a middle-road liberal, and you
haven't the slightest idea what you want. I, being a revolutionist,
know exactly what I want - and what I want right now is a drink"

:: Get Out The Vote ... 1:20 PM

I've got to and it to the Republicans. They outdid any of the old Democratic machine efforts in old Chicago. The Republican 'get out the vote' effort was so successfull that it creates a new definition of implausible.

A 10% increase would be good, a 15% increase would be fantastic. But sink your teeth into this ...

How about 430% - How about getting almost 8000 votes in a county with 3000 republicans. Now thats what I call amazing. Chicago democrats should learn from this.

And, even more amazingly, the exit polls, which asked people who they voted for said it would be Kerry in a landslide. Karen Hughes, the advisor to Bush, actually pulled Bush aside and told him that Kerry would be winning the election in a landslide.

But, no. It wasn't to be. Not when you can 'get out the votes' like this ...

A sample of Florida counties ...

In Baker County, for example, with 8931 registered Democrat voters, John Kerry got 2,180 votes. But the 3132 registered republicans managed to cast 7,738 votes for Bush.

Exit polls said Kerry in a landslide ...

In Dixie County, with 7498 registered Democrats voters, John Kerry got 1,959 votes. But the 1,451 registered republicans managed to cast 4,433 votes for Bush.

Exit polls said Kerry in a landslide ...

The pattern repeats over and over again - but only in the counties where optical scanners were used. Franklin County, 77.3% registered Democrats, went 58.5% for Bush. Holmes County, 72.7% registered Democrats, went 77.25% for Bush.

Exit polls said Kerry in a landslide ...

Evidence Mounts That The Vote May Have Been Hacked

Democracy is as dead as a doorknob.
