I like hair. Lots of hair. Hair is the one part that a person has control of. You can't change your body, at least not very much, and you can't really change your personality, but you can change your hair. I like long straight hair the most, though a bit of a wave is nice. My wife has longish hair, my ex wife had longish hair, a couple of girlfriends had long straight hair. So, what does this mean?
Nothing, just that I am sitting at work, bored, and I felt like writing something. That something turned out to be a meaningless ramble about hair.
The worst hair possible is the military haircut. The three inches above the ear, shaved, sides and back, looking like a permanent rug. Excess conformity will do that. Wearing the military hairdo is one of those conformity through dorkiness things. But, I suppose if your dumb enough to sign up for a job whose description includes killing people, and being shot at while taking orders from a bunch of people who don't give a shit about you, then you may as well have the "I'm a dork" hair-cut too.
And don't even get me started on mustaches. I mean, have you ever met an intelligent man with a mustache? No, you haven't. Neither have I. It seems to actually lower their IQ. Having a mustache is simply a declaration to the world that you can't grow a beard.
Beards are ugly too. I should know I have one (its October), but mines full, not the goatee. Wearing a goatee is like saying 'my mouth is a pussy'. I mean, that's what it looks like, right?
I get to shave my beard next Monday. Halloween will be over. Back to the daily scrape of a razor, yawn.
But, I digress; this topic is actually about hair, not pseudo pubes. I like light long straight hair. Every one should have long hair. Maybe it's a hippie thing. Think about it, how happy and care free can you be if you have short hair? You cant. It's republican, conservative. And, yes, it's grown up, that word we never wanted to have attached to us. Now we have it, and we are. Oh well, that's the way it goes, and all we had to do to avoid it would have been to keep our hair long.
